BJP: Origin-Ideology-Approach-Accomplishments-Reach of the Party

BJP, a National Political Party which had almost negligible Political Base during 1980s, is now Dominating with a Major Triumph in the Indian Political System

Bharatiya Janata Party, which has its roots from Bharatiya Jana Sangha is ruling at centre since 2014 under the Guidance of PM Mr. Narendra Modi. The Party is engaged in doing lots of amazing things which is very much required for the Socio-Economic developments and for the Unity of this Great Country.

To enhace the look
Bharatiya Jan Sangh:

It was formed in 1951 with Shyama Prasad Mukherjee as its Founder, its Ancestry can be traced back to the RSS(Rashtriya SwayamSevek Sangha) and Hindu Mahasabha in Pre-Independent India.

Ideology:

-It upheld the Principle of Akhand Bharat which envisaged the Reunion of India and Pakistan.

-It was leading a campaign to replace English with Hindi as the official language of India.

-It emphasized the concept of One Country, One Culture and One Nation.

Approach of the Party:

Many opposition party leaders had claimed in past that BJP is the party dominated by Upper Caste, Upper Middle-Class, and Urban Elite but with the Ideology of Integral Humanism- Sabka sath Sabka Vikash sabka vishwas, its social base widened. Party gave space to diverse groups of people whose interests were contradictory. Villagers, workers, peasants, industrialist etc found conducive environment within the party. Gradually its leadership expanded beyond so called upper caste dominated party to upper caste professionals, agricultural leaders with rural orientations.

By the time 2019, BJP transformed into a Rainbow like social coalition broadly representing India's diversity in terms of classes, castes, religions and languages and other various interests. In many ways the Party is an Ideological coalition as well. Coalition accommodates all those who join, therefore, it has to avoid any extreme position and strike a balance on almost all issues. It seems in the party there is greater tolerance of internal differences of various groups and leaders that is why it accommodated the Parties like Mizo National Front(Extremist), Sikkim Krantikari Morcha(Moderate), Apna Dal(sonelal)(Social Justice, Feminism inclusive governace), AIADMK(Regionalism), Republican Party of India(A)(Scheduled Caste oriented led by B.R. Ambedkar) and many more Parties in one Umbrella term of National Democratic Alliance(NDA).

Now you can comfortably say that BJP is a PLATFORM for numerous groups, interests, parties to take part in the National Development Movement. The present situation is the proof that anything opposition wants to say it already finds a place in the programme and ideology of the BJP.

To enhance the look
Major accomplishments of the party in the interest of Nation:

-Balakot strike after the Pulwama attack on the convoy of Security Forces.

-Abolition of Article 370 and 35A which prohibited the development of the J&K.

-Construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, UP.

-Legislations like Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA), National Register of Citizens(NRC), Triple Talaq Act.

-Schemes like Sagarmala, Bharatmala, swachha Bharat Mission, Atmanirbhar Bharat Package to tackle the COVID-19 crisis etc.

-Over 4000 Left-wing extremists(LWEs) have laid down their arms in Chhatisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh in the past 7 years, according to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA).

-Construction of New Parliament.

Why Party does not have any new Faction?

Groups inside the party are called factions, I think there are room within the party for the various leaders representing different interests and ideology to fight and remain within the BJP rather than go out and form new party.

Recent happenings:

The incumbent NDA govt at Centre has Legislated Three Farm Acts with the aim to boost Profit and Technological Upgradation in the Agriculture for whole of the Country. Due to misunderstandings and Confusions Farmers mostly from Punjab and Haryana are protesting at the borders of Delhi and demanding total repeal of the Acts.

In solidarity with the Farmers, two Ally Political Party namely SAD(Siromani Akali Dal, Punjab) and RLP(Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, Rajasthan) have broken the Alliance with NDA and accused the Party at Centre of not giving importance to their issues.
